.Net Applications Engineer

Barquin International seeking a qualified candidate for the recently opened .Net Applications Engineer position. The position(s) require .NET developers that are able to code to an object-oriented structure in C# coding language. The developers should be very familiar with .NET development of web-based applications and also be able to create stored procedures in SQL server. experience.

 

Work Location:  Pentagon City, VA

 

CLEARANCE/CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must meet security clearance requirements for Transportation Security Administration.  U.S. Citizenship is required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Code and unit test.NET application based on requirements, use cases, and wireframes; 70%
• Defect remediation from system testing; 15%
• Update System Design Documentation to be accurate based on what was coded; 10%
• Contribute to implementation plan for how to deploy system to production; 2.5%
• Status reporting and customer demonstrations – 2.5%

 

 

DESIRED EFFICIENCY:

Requires Skills:

• .NET development – 5 years
• SQL server: creating stored procedures, tables, etc – 1 year
• C# development – 5 years

 

Preferred Skills:

• Active Directory – 2 years
• Reporting Services – 2 years
