Barquin International seeking a qualified candidate for the recently opened Developer position. The job duties, as detailed below, are focused on the database design, development and administration tasks during development, testing and deployment phases of the project lifecycle. The individual must be able to perform independently in a high pressure client environment and deliver under a tight schedule. The candidate will have strong Microsoft .NET development skills as well as strong database support experience.

CLEARANCE/CITIZENSHIP REQUIREMENTS

Candidate must meet security clearance requirements for Transportation Security Administration.  U.S. Citizenship is required.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

• Perform development work in .Net environment using C#
• Design, build, test, tune and deploy SQL Server databases and reports in the development and the test environments
• Provide database support to the development and testing teams
• Manage database requests and revisions to ensure integrity of the schema
• Support with TSA Solutions Delivery in transitioning the SQL Server databases to production
• Troubleshoot database problems during build time and runtime for the above environments
• Provide estimates for work in the above areas

 

 

DESIRED EFFICIENCY:

• Experience in developing Microsoft .Net solutions and C#
• Some experience in software lifecycle development methodologies including iterative development
• 5+ years experience in database installation, configuration, data modeling, schema design, SQL development and performance tuning, data migration and reporting solutions
• 3+ years experience in SQL Server and database productivity tools for the above tasks
• 3+ years experience in providing database support for complex integration projects
• 1+ years experience in developing solutions using SQL Server database drivers
• 1+ years experience with Microsoft SharePoint installation, configuration, and development
